It has been a strange time for me and I am not yet out of it. Meanwhile Ireland has turned into Canada with cold and snow. Hope you all had a wonderful season of good cheer and wishing you the best for 2010.
Omigod, I've been trying to find someone else who saw that film! (I was beginning to think I had made it up in my head.) Do you know you are the first person who has ever mentioned it to me?! It was amazing, wasn't it?
hey, you have a weblog....! That's great...! Just found you here, while googeling for your books. I have just contributet an article about the two books you gave me to a German Web-Zine for Naturespiritualism...! Maybe you want to have a look, when it is online... It's the Imbolc edition 2010...! I'll let you know, when it is published... Will translate for you, when we meet again...! ;)

By the way, I loved the books....! Oh, and would you have time to come over for Beltane...? We'll have a celebration over here: bonfire, ritual, music - a German friend of mine, a singer and songwriter, singing her own songs about the wheel of the year, will give a little concert - and story-telling...! Good food, of course...! (I know you like that, now that I have read the books....! haha...)
Ina, great to hear from you! Will do a post on your blog soon. I've been overcome by winter blues, but slowly coming out of it and will be back in bloom soon.:)
Currently writing from Canada...as I'm usually a Kingstonian (two hours east of Toronto) but currently working with the Military in Vancouver for the Olympics. I am used to TONS of snow this time of year but lately, all we've seen is RAIN in Vancouver. I'm having quite the adjustment period because snow can be cheery but this rain is depressing! I'm looking forward to my trip to Ireland this May...I wish someone would give me hope that the weather there will make me feel better!
I was born in Ireland and grew up in Toronto, Canada with my seven sisters and two brothers. Left home at seventeen to live in a commune, then headed off across Canada with my pal, Carole, and we hitch-hiked around California for months, then back up to Vancouver(Van as we called it then) and across Canada with two more pals, Linda and Peggy. A year later, headed off to Malaysia and Borneo with Jeunesse Canada Monde/Canada World Youth for a year. Baik-lah! Back home, went to Trinity College at the University of Toronto (posh blokes) while also joining the Canadian Naval Reserve as an Officer Cadet. Trained on the east and west coasts of Canada every summer. Great fun. Then what? Hmm. Started to write books, dodgy personal life (that's personal but let's just say it's been a long time between drinks) started to wander around the world, had a darling daughter, settled down in Ireland, wrote more books.

Happy new year, and I hope you're good! One definite resolution of mine is to actually buy and read one of your books. It's on my short-list!
Thanks, Paddy. May 2010 see you writing and publishing more!
